We’ve updated content on this site to match where we think it should be (as far as our best current guesses). We aim very much to not change anything unless we have to …
1. Sans serif for some copy
Because the focus of this site is access, we have realised that Times New Roman won’t work for everything and becomes less legible as body copy with some punctuation or underlined links. So we’ve added a couple of new sans serif styles instead (one that’s a heading, one that’s body copy). This typeface is ‘Diatype Regular’ but use whatever is close enough, makes sense and will work on the iPads. :)
2. Text size/screen fill
Could text size be increased across the board, to fill the screen as comfortably as possible? Here’s what the current version looks like on the iPads:
3. Copy changes
We’ve edited a bit of the copy to add adjusted credits and remove some punctuation. If you don’t have time to update this (based on this site) we can do it later!
Also — the QR code is updated now and is the real deal.
4. Position of credits
If the credit lines could be centre-aligned and padded on either side that would be 👨🏻🍳💋! But if not then at least centre-aligned. :)
5. Transcript links still coming
We don’t currently have a PDF transcript example but will hope to have these done very soon too. But I guess it won’t affect you too much as long as there’s a link to where it would be!
6. Sample audio
You don’t have to upload this anywhere but we have a sample of the audiodescription chapters this site/kiosk will host now! Sharing this more as an FYI (:
